CAMPING RATES

Early morning...camping in the great outdoors...along the river..........	AND a brand new bathhouse with hot showers...this is the best!

With two great locations right on the river, camping here with us is more than just pitching a tent! Our main camping area in Glenwood offers full electric and water hook-ups and parking for campers and RV’s. 12 brand new picnic tables have been added along with park style bbq grills. And best of all, a brand new bathhouse with full indoor plumbing, and hot showers. No more port-a-potties, no more changing in the car, or going home wet when you get off the river. The bathhouse features a tankless water heating system that guarantees a hot shower every time, even if you’re the 10th person to shower that morning.

For recreation at the campsite, you can shoot hoops, play volleyball, try your arm at horse shoes, or come over to the paintball field with some friends and see how much paint you can throw around! Both locations, here in Glenwood and at “The Narrows” offer some of the most popular places to jump in and cool off as well. In fact, the section of the Caddo at our camping spot at “The Narrows” has been rated as “The Best Swimming Hole in Arkansas" by the Arkansas Times®.

As a full camping outfitter, you don’t even need to bring a tent if you decide at the last minute to stay and float the river another day. We rent out tents, and sell sleeping bags, pillows, flash lights, bug spray, and more so that you can enjoy a night down on the banks of the Caddo.

For those who consider camping a soft mattress, and air-conditioning, we have just the thing!  Sleeping anywhere between 6-8 people/room, this newly built bunkhouse is ideal for a good nights sleep along the river, but without having to worry about the elements, or the bugs!  We don't think it's cheating, but rooms go fast, so book early.

Camping Rates

Glenwood - $3/person (extra $5/site for water and electricity hook-up)

Narrows - $5/tent (or trailer). No hook-ups available.

Bunkhouse - $45/room (Must bring your own linens, or sleeping bags.)

Firewood is also available for sale.

For those who would like to stay in a little more luxury while you’re here, how about this perfect spot with a breathtaking view overlooking the Caddo. Compare this with any other cabin on the river and you’ll agree that this is the place to stay. You certainly don’t have to bring your own bedroll & linens. River Ridge Cottage

Similar to the River's Bend Cabin, the River Ridge Cottage offers much of the same amenities and a first class stay you're sure to enjoy.

Hickory Hills #1

These two cabins are brand new!!  Built Spring of 2009 each cabin is ideally suited for a couple or small family to get out and experience Arkansas outdoors!  They border the Ouachita National Forest and from your cabin you can take your ATV through hundreds of miles of stunning forest and  spectacular views.  The river isn't but 3 minutes down the road where you can enjoy one of the best swimming holes on the river.

Hickory Hills #2

These cabins are fully furnish, and tailored to the same high standard as all our cabins we rent.  It's has a warm country rustic interior, just like a cabin should, but modern with a full kitchen, and satellite TV to enjoy while you're there as well.

Sundancer Cabin #1

This cabin is a beautiful three bedroom piece of luxury you'll have trouble finding anywhere else in Arkansas quite like it!  The setting is gorgeous, the cabin is modern, and even has wifi.  We don't need to elaborate much here, go to www.sundancercaddoriver.com and check it out for yourself. 

IMPORTANT:

Reservations can be made for any of the accommodations above with either a visa, master, or discover card.  In most cases a deposit is required.  Please call us at 870-356-5336.  The cancellation policy may vary depending on the facility, but a min. of 48 hours is needed as not to loose the deposit or first night rental cost. 

FISHING

Fishing Licenses can be obtained at www.agfc.com in advance, or if you’d rather  they can also be obtained here at the office.

The Caddo is well known for its Large and Smallmouth bass. It has been named as one of the best Smallmouth Rivers in Arkansas. Other common catches include Blue and Channel Catfish, Brim, Crappie, White Bass, and sometimes even Walleye are spotted. Ron can tell you what sections of the river have what, and good places to fish. The only thing that he asks you keep in mind is that all Smallmouth under 12 inches need to be put back, and any two (2) over 12 inches can be kept, but catch and release the rest.

Ron is an active member of the American Canoe Association, Arkansas Stream Team, and Arkansas Canoe Club.  He would like to help ensure that the river remains a viable fishing paradise for years to come. Ron is also an avid angler himself, growing up in Northern Ontario, Canada. He can give you a few tips on what the fish may be looking for, but any real secrets he may have will likely cost extra!! Kidding!
