"The camping is great and so is the floating. We have done the canoe and the tubes and loved both. Especially liked that the rental on the tubes included two trips! Very great staff as well, very friendly. They take the time to tell you all you need to know along the way, such as landmarks to judge how much further you are and any spots you may need to be careful on."
TUBE SEASON HAS STARTED as of May 5, 2018!
NEW LONGER ROUTE FOR 2018!
Reservations are recommended for the weekends in particular. Reservations may be made by phone for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. Leave a message if we can't catch the phone in time and we will call you back shortly.
Reservations now require NON-REFUNDABLE prepayment in full. If you prefer not to pre-pay for tubes in advance, we will offer any remaining available tubes on a first-come, first-served, basis each day. A valid credit card on file is required until the tubes are returned undamaged and on-time.
Tubes will only be held untill 11 a.m. of the reserved date unless we are notified of a later arrival time.
Please click on the link below to be sure you're familiar with the things you can and can not have on the river. We can provide each floater with life jackets, and also provide those bringing coolers with mesh bags, unless you bring your own.
Our NEW 2018 tube route is longer! It takes from 1.5 at the fastest level to about 4.5 hours straight through, based on water level. This is the optimal section of the river for average river levels during tube season. Friends and family, church and scout groups, beginners and experts alike, all will enjoy the Caddo. This section has good swimming holes. Class I and Class II rapids help do much of the "paddling" for you in early summer. In the late summer, you may have to do more of the paddling yourself, but generally this section of the Caddo stays a pretty good float, and in fact it's one of the most consistent floating rivers in Arkansas.
