Caddo
River
Camping & Canoe Rental Inc. provide canoe, kayak, and
tube floats on the upper section of the Caddo River above Lake DeGray, in
Glenwood, Arkansas.
T he Caddo
is an ideal river for all levels of floating experience. The river is
peaceful, at least in some places but to prevent paddlers
from becoming too complacent there are a number of Class I and Class II
rapids along the way to keep it fun!
Since 1982 we continue to
provide the most convenient location on the river
to check-in, park, and have your vehicle there waiting for
you at your take-out at the end of your trip. While other
floaters will often get confused or forget where exactly their takeout
location is, having your vehicle there by the river makes for an
obvious and convenient landmark! Furthermore, you don't have to worry
about how long you'll need to wait for someone to
pick you up and bring you back to your vehicle at the end of the day!
You'll also find that we
consistently maintain the
newest fleet of boats on the river each year due
to our large sale of used canoes and kayaks in the
fall. We try and keep our rental equipment from feeling like
"rental equipment"! We also have three (3) conveniently located
properties right on the
river if you're coming to camp-out, plus an air-conditioned bunkhouse, full bathhouse
facilities, and we even offer the best fully furnished cabins you'll find on the Caddo
- guaranteed.
New for
2006 was the addition of our Caddo Combat
Paintball field, where adrenalin and accuracy are put
to the test in this wild "hi-tech" game of tag. We have
everything you need to play, so don't be shy, give it a try!
And finally, the convenience of our concession stand,
the Caddo Café,
will help take care of the need for a quick bite while you're
here! Enjoy an ice cream or sno-cone as you relax by the
river and watch the people float on by. Or grab a burger
or any number of menu items we have as you come off the river
and get ready to head back for the day.
Our goal is to make your trip
a safe, enjoyable, and memorable one for you and your family. We
carry a variety of supplies for your camping and
floating/fishing trip here so you don't have to worry if you
